The joy of spreading God's good news during the Christmas season will continue in your life throughout the new year ahead. And that the spirit we hear from others we will accept and the spirit you have in you aching to speak out will flow forward like a river.
Lord as we prepare for you this holiday season we ask that you give us the courage to proclaim your message in this world that seems so dark. We thank you for John the Baptist and his guidance and we ask that you grant us the opportunity to spread the name of your son Jesus into a world that so sorely needs him. We ask all this in your most holy name. Amen.
Loving and faithful God you are the God of yesterday and God of tomorrow. Unchangeable God, full of mercy and compassion; we will praise you Lord for you are good; we will sing your praise for you are gracious’ it is fitting to praise you. As you go about doing good, do not forget us even in the midst of our lives chaos or not, do not pass us by. Do to us as you did to the shepherds, as we await your coming, grant us the patience and peace that you bring through Christ our Lord. Amen.
“Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord, May it be done to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38)
Lord Jesus, help us to build our life on you in faith. We ask that you help us to trust you more. Thank you for hearing us. In Jesus name amen.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of your Son. Help us to receive your goodness, to grow in our faith and to let Jesus shine through our lives. May your grace strengthen hearts to enrich our and faith and bring us the Peace that only you can give us. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
May we become a people who love and cherish the Holy Eucharist, and thus hear our Divine Lord telling us: “Blessed are the eyes, that see, what you see!”
O loving and peaceful God, bring peace to our world this Advent time. Help us to be peaceful in all our actions and words. Bring deep peace to each of us. We ask this through Christ your Son. Amen.
