“there is NO distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching ALL who call upon him.” (Rom 10: 9-18
Loving God, as we await your coming during this Advent season, we ask for the grace to open our eyes, ears, and hearts to Your presence among us.
“Lord , my servant is laying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully”
Lord help us to recognize you in the stories of our daily lives. May we welcome you in our joys and sorrows, successes and failures, happiness and disappointments.
May the our heavenly Father and our brother Jesus continue to fill us with the Holy Spirit
Jesus thank you for today. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for salvation. Bless those who hear your word and respond to it.
All of us live in eternity’s shadow and will eventually appear in the presence of God
“I myself shall give you a wisdom.” It is Christ who gives us this wisdom because, as Paul writes, “It is no longer I who live by Christ in me” (Galatians 2:20).
Loving God, help us not to become discouraged. Give us hope and courage to do what we can in our little part of the world. We ask this through Jesus. Amen. Have a great day - and change your little part of the world.
Father, we glorify your name and we long to sing hymns for you in your presence. Grant us the strength to follow your teachings and the conviction to stay the course when times get tough.
We praise and love you, Jesus Christ, and acknowledge you as our Savior and our God.
Lord increase our faith in your promise of eternal life. May our word, deeds and actions revel our preparation and readiness to join you in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus please give us the grace to wait for your promises while using the waiting time in the most productive of ways.
Open my eyes Lord,
Help me to see your face.
Open my eyes Lord,
help me to see.
"Worthy are you, our Lord and our God to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of your Will they existed, and were created."
" Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over".... (Lk 19:8)
God of love who is love itself, help us to fall in love again with you and with your truth so that our minds, our words, and our actions may be transformed and so that we may become in truth what we believe and celebrate. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
“You will be hated by all because of my name. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your souls.” (Lk 21:19)
“If in the end an unjust and rapacious judge can be wearied into giving a widow woman justice, how much more will God, who is a loving Father, give his children what they need!” (Lk 18:6)
“Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it… will save it” (Lk 17:35).
"For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you." (Luke 17:21b)
Fill us with a deeper love and zeal for your mission and the church. May we be never discouraged by the trials of this world, rather strengthened by your promise of eternal life.
" So should it be with you. When you have done all you have been commanded, say, “We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we were obliged to do.” (LK 17: 9-10)
“Increase our faith, O Lord,” that we may see.
Seven brothers and each had married the same woman after each died in succession! Who would she be married to in the after life!
