Lord Jesus, through the gift of your Holy Spirit, you fill us with an unfailing spirit of praise and joy which no earthly trial can subdue
Jesus is relying on them using a bit of wisdom to allow his ministry to develop and unfold to its fullfilment. With this in mind, when we take time to pray today let us ask the Lord not for things or feelings, not for knowledge or understanding, but for wisdom to use what is already available to us, in body, mind, and in spirit.

Loving God, give us the courage of our convictions. Open our tongues so that we may speak the truth
We thank you for sending your Son to walk among us as man and be our first leader to paradise.

Though we may not know when that call will come, we should take heed to answer it with whole-hearted acceptance and go where the Lord sends us spread his message of Love and peace.
