Lord, open our eyes
that we may see you in our brothers and sisters.
Lord, open our ears
that we may hear the cries of the hungry,
the cold, the frightened, the oppressed.
Lord, open our hearts
that we may love each other as you love us.
Renew in us your spirit.
Transform their hearts, Lord, and grant them the conviction to become great leaders as well, for the sake of the people they serve and look after.
“Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him” ( Mt 18: 21)
Loving God, give us the wisdom to think before we speak. Help us to mean what we say and act out of the real values we hold dear. We ask all of this through Jesus your Son. Amen.

Jesus departed to the mountain to pray, and he spent the night in prayer to God. (LK 6:12-19)
Heavenly Father, it is with great joy in our hearts that we come together. Please open our hearts and mind to be open to follow your will. Help us to resist temptation and choose to make decisions that are done not for earthly rewards but because they are the right things to do. Help us to obtain the Peace that only you can give us. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
Jesus is teaching us that it's not about making me more right than you.... It's about using love to bring each other to a point of love and respect. Now doesn't this sound better than the method that most people chose?
Most Holy and faithful God, God full of mercy and compassion, give to grace of discernment that we may be able to clear our heads and mind of the worldly things. You the great I AM, our Rock and Savior; you are the God who created and who redeemed, all our hope and help are in you.
Lord Jesus thank you that you don't cover up sin, when we confess it you make us clean by your blood. Amen
Lord, we thank you today for the gifts of community and those around us. Help us to live out our gospel call in our daily lives, living as we preach and preaching to those who need to hear your word most.
Lord open our hearts and mind to listen to your word and resist the power of evil and darkness.
Loving God, we do believe in the Resurrection. We do believe in life after death. Strengthen this hope. Help us to console one another in this belief. We ask this through Jesus your son. Amen.
Lord, be with me always in my journey to be your follower. Let me not be worried about my tomorrows. Help me to realized that there are many things in my life that I don't understand, to realize that you are always right. Amen.
