Today, we’re invited to offer our own "five loaves"—our tired prayers, small acts of kindness, or hesitant generosity—and trust Jesus to use them.

This miracle also teaches us about inclusion: the meal was for everyone, not just a few. The Church is meant to be a place where anyone who is hungry can meet a God who gives freely. Jesus shows us that following him means noticing the needs around us, offering what we have, and trusting God to make it enough.

Let’s answer Isaiah’s invitation and bring Paul’s confidence into our daily lives. Like the boy, let’s offer our small gifts to Christ, trusting that his compassion will make them enough for everyone. In Christ, our hunger is noticed and filled, and nothing—not even death—can separate us from his love.
