The first point is to go beyond in our understanding of the Paschal mystery. Mary worried upon seen that the body of Jesus was not in its place. Nobody has taken the Lord from us; neither can we keep Him caged in a tomb, trying to control the access of others to him. The Risen Lord is calling us once again to gather as a community and meet Him in Galilee to resume our journey.
The second point is to go deeper in grasping the true meaning of walking in faith as a community of believers. Peter entered the tomb and saw the scenario, but John believed. No matter who runs faster or who arrives first, what really counts is our readiness to believe in the living presence of Jesus, even when we are surrounded by signs of death.
The third point is to be more authentic in our faithful witnessing to a living God. Authenticity emerges when Jesus is the center of our life, not we. He becomes the center when our life is shared with others and offered in love for others. Our faith journey, this way, becomes a paschal experience, a continuous dying to our selfishness, so to be witnesses to the light of Christ, from all places to all people.
