Sometimes it is hard to understand why there is no peace among us, why people live in conflict with one another, when we are all children of the same loving Father who has given us a world in which to live in love and peace. We were all created in the image of God himself; it does not matter whether we are white or black. Dear brothers and sisters, let us live as children of the same God, of the same Father; let us show through the way we live that God is love and wants us to live in that same love with one another. God is a family, a community, and on this Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, invites us to build families and communities, in other words, not create division but unity.
