First, we learn to trust God’s patient timing. He is the Master of the harvest, and He is fully in control, even when the weeds seem to be taking over.
Second, we learn to imitate His mercy. If the Almighty judges with moderation and gives us time to repent, who are we to judge others with harshness and immediacy?
Let us ask for the grace of patience; with the world, with those around us, and with our own slow growth, trusting that the Spirit is at work inside us, preparing us to shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father.
