They fell in love with Christ, and that love changed everything. It made sacrifice possible. When we are in love, we do not count the cost. We do not keep score of wrongs.
This week, you will have many choices. May you take up your cross today, and may you find in that cross the choice of life, the choice of love, and the way to Jesus. If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For anyone who wants to save his life will lose it, but anyone who loses his life for my sake will find it. Amen.
