the days will come when there will not be left
a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down."
"When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. Loving God, give us a grateful heart. Help us to see the good in other people and the beauty and good in our world – your wonderful gifts to us. Amen.
Lord we thank you for your guidance in this life. The examples of the saints and martyrs are difficult but good for us to follow. Help us to stay on their track and find our way to heaven too. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
O Lord who upholds us against our adversaries, against many who rise against us; may your salvation be ours, may our faith in you hold us, for you are our strength. You O Lord are our shield, our glory, you lift up our head. We lie down in sleep and wake up again, for the Lord sustains us. We fear not the myriads of people arrayed against us for you are at our side.
Let us seek the Lord of Light in our darkness. Let us seek the Lord of healing in our sicknesses. Let us seek the Lord of holiness in our blindness. Amen
The more we give and share with others from the resources we have the more we are personally enriched; on the other hand, to cling to our gifts and keep them just for ourselves is to become smaller in every way.
Heavenly Father, thank you for watching over us. We know that you are a loving father who wants to know our wants and needs. Help us to stay diligent in our prayers as we grow closer to you each and every day. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord we pray. Amen.
Father, thank you for your word, thank you that one day you are coming back. May we tell the truth in love to those who don't know you. Amen
"Wisdom is mobile beyond all motion,
and she penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity.
For she is an aura of the might of God
and a pure effusion of the glory of the Almighty;
therefore nought that is sullied enters into her.
For she is the refulgence of eternal light,
the spotless mirror of the power of God,
the image of his goodness.
And she, who is one, can do all things."

Possessions can be used as they pertain to eternity. As the Rabbis said: “The rich help the poor in this world, but the poor help the rich in the world to come!”
Lord we thank you for all the gifts that make humanity great among your creations. We ask you to strengthen that which we are lacking in and provide encouragement in our growth. We ask all this in the name of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you for taking care of us even when we are not so faithful.
