Dear Father in heaven. Remind us always that as Christians we are to bring your Word out to the world. That it is not enough to simply attend Mass each Sunday. Inspire to us to overcome the obstacles that will inevitably confront us in this mission you have given us, just as it confronted Jesus when he tried to preach in his hometown of Nazareth. Let us remember your words “Do not be afraid”; as we march forward in response to your call. We ask you this in your Son’s name, our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
